Wollongong Family Photographer // Anna

My beautiful friends lost their daughter Anna a year ago and have experienced the ongoing grief of a stillborn birth. On her 1st anniversary I went with them to Little Bay at sunrise to capture them them together as a family to celebrate Anna. It was beautiful and precious and these guys are just amazing. Later that morning we went back to their house and Heidi's impromptu performances had us all in stiches...I am growing to love photographing people in their homes more and more. I love how comfortable people are, how the natural moments unfold and how special it is to record the details of the home and life happening in it. These are some of my favourite photos I have ever taken and I am thankful to them for inviting me to capture them and  being happy for me to share. x.
